The theme this week for Picture Perfect is ~Safe.~ Looking through my pictures I have found one that to me would be a perfect theme for this week. The picture is that of the the gate doors that lead into the cemetery in Camigliano, Caserta, Italy. Last summer was my second trip back to Camigliano and everyday my family and I would go to the cemetery to put a candle for whatever person of the family they were honoring that day. It was just an honor alone for me to be there. This picture was taken the last day I was there. I had turned one last time to look through the door into the well maintained mausoleum that they keep to say a silent goodbye to the many members of my family and the other's that were there ~Safe~ behind the wrought iron gate of the cemetery.

Jennifer I loved going there everyday and walking thru it and seeing where my ancestors were finally placed ~safe~ for the eternal resting place. It was a very profound moment for me I would walk to Signor Iovino's store everyday for a candle to burn. Walking through the village at night along side of the cemetery you could see all the flames aglow from the candles placed there during the day. It looked so very peaceful.
