This week's theme for Picture Perfect is:Red. This a picture of the inside of San Simeone Church in Camigliano. I took this picture October 2003 on my first trip to Camigliano,Caserta,Italy where my grandfather's family still lives, and where I call home in my heart. And now for some pictures:

the red flowers are native to Hawaii.. I love those as well..Beautiful church!. My daughter lived in various parts of Italy for a few years... Come visit mine when u have a chance.

Thank-you it is a beautiful church..I took this picture in October 2003 and it was for Confirmation in the church that day.....but it does look like it was for Christmas doesn't it??

Thank-you it really is a beautiful building...the church is 1,100 yrs old. Every time I am there and spend time in it I am overwhelmed with all of the history it holds.
